About This Course
If you have ever worked in a startup, you have probably been in a situation where you had to wait on an engineer to pull out some data for you from "a database". This course is all about teaching you how to do that in the format you want using SQL (pronounced see-quel).
What can I do after taking this course?
The course starts off with the basics and quickly progresses to teaching you how to write complex SQL queries to determine business metrics such as Month over Month Revenue, Lifetime value of a customer and so on. There are tons of practice exercises — I promise you!
By the end of this course, each and every one of you will be able to extract data and do your own analysis without having to rely on anyone else.
Who is this course for?
I originally designed this course for Product Managers and Marketers who want to make data driven decisions. However, I truly believe that anyone working in a small to medium tech company (think startups) will find this course extremely useful. You might be a customer success manager, an outbound sales agent or even the CEO — knowing SQL can only help you!
How is this course different?
I built this course specifically because I was so dissatisfied with what is out there. Most of other courses out there teach you SQL syntax and leave it at that.
This entire course is built around a project. We will be playing around with data to determine key metrics of a dummy business I created. There are tons of practice exercises to ensure that you know how to apply SQL during your job.
